1 |
Depart Windhoek
to Keetmanshoop via Rehoboth and Mariental. En route a visit to the Rehoboth
Museum, before continuing to a beautiful lodge in the Kalahari area near
Mariental. Enjoy a nature drive in the late afternoon. Overnight – Anib Lodge with dinner and breakfast |

| Day 2 | After breakfast
depart to the Hardap Dam and the Quiver tree forest near Keetmanshoop.
The route via Seeheim will take us to the Fishriver Canyon. This Canyon
is known as the second largest canyon in the world. Overnight - Canyon Lodge with dinner and breakfast. |

| Day 3 | Today we shall
drive via Aus to Lüderitz. With a little luck, some wild horses can be
seen en route. Lüderitz was the first German Settlement in the previous
Deutsch-Südwest Africa and will fascinate you with its old colonial buildings
and beauty. Overnight – Hotel Zum Sperrgebiet with breakfast |

| Day 4 | In
the morning a tour of the town will take place and after a visit to the
famous Diaz Cross the rest of the day is at your own leisure. Overnight – Hotel Zum Sperrgebiet with breakfast |

| Day 5 | After
breakfast visit the ghost town Kolmanskop, once the town where the first
diamond was found. Proceed via Aus and Helmeringhausen to a nice lodge,
where you will spend the night. Overnight – La Vallee Tranquille with dinner and breakfast |

| Day 6 | Continue
to Duwisib to visit the castle before proceeding to a lodge near Sesriem.
Arrival later in the afternoon. Overnight – Namib Naukluft Lodge with dinner and breakfast. |

| Day 7 | Excursion
into the Sossusvlei, where one finds the highest sand dunes in the world.
(up to 300m). After our visit to Sossusvlei and the Sesriem Canyon, we
will return to the lodge and in the late afternoon a nature drive to the
marble mountains will be offered. Overnight – Namib Naukluft Lodge with dinner and breakfast |

| Day 8 | Depart
at 9:00 via the Kuiseb Canyon to a lodge in the vicinity of the Gaub River,
offering a great panoramic view from the private patio of your chalet
at the lodge. Overnight – Rostock Ritz Desert Lodge with dinner and breakfast |

| Day 9 | After
breakfast continue via Walvis Bay to Swakopmund the lovely coastal town
at the Atlantic. Arrival at about 15h00 and the rest of the day at own
leisure. Overnight - Hansa Hotel including breakfast. |

| Day 10 | At
9:00 pick-up at the hotel for a half-day desert tour to visit the Oasis
Goanikontes, the Moon Valley and the famous Welwitschia plants; return
to the hotel at 13:00 and rest of day at own leisure. Overnight - Hansa Hotel with breakfast. |

| Day 11 | After
breakfast depart Swakopmund on the main road towards Karibib, with a detour
to Spitzkoppe, the “Namibian Matterhorn” offering fantastic rock formation
in a beautiful landscape. After a picnic lunch continue via Usakos and
Karibib to the farm Kaliombo, where the night will be spent in big safari
tents at the edge of a dry riverbed. Overnight – Kaliombo Safari Camp with dinner and breakfast |

| Day 12 | Depart
from Kaliombo via Omaruru to Damaraland; visit the famous prehistoric
rock engravings at Twyfelfontein and stay for one night at a lodge in
the vicinity. Overnight – Twyfelfontein Lodge including dinner & breakfast. |
|
| Day 13 | Proceed
via Outjo into the Etosha National Park. The first game drive will be
on our way to the rest camp, where the night will be spent in bungalows.
Overnight – One of the Rest camps including dinner & breakfast. |
|
| Day 14 | All day game drives
in the Etosha National Park, with stops at various waterholes. Just before
sunset, we shall leave the Etosha National Park and continue to a lodge
situated on the outskirts of the eastern border of the Etosha National
Park. Overnight - Mokuti Lodge including dinner & breakfast. |

| Day 15 |
Enjoy a game drive
in the morning in the National Park, where you may observe lots of game
at the various waterholes around Namutoni. Return to the lodge at about
lunchtime and the afternoon may be spent at the swimming pool area at
the lodge. |

| Day 16 | After breakfast
the route leads to the Otjikoto lake and after a short visit proceed via
Otjiwarongo and Okahandja back to Windhoek. Arrival at about 16:00, where
the night will be spent at a 4-star hotel. Overnight – Windhoek Country Club with breakfast |

| Day 17 | Airport transfer to the international airport according to the flight schedule. | |
