| Day
1 |
Arrival
at Windhoek international airport – welcome by your tour guide and transfer
to the hotel. After check-in and some time to relax, a cultural tour will
be undertaken to Katatura with various stops e.g. the Old Cemetry, the
Single Quarters, the open markets, the recycling Project and the Penduka
development project. This 3 hours tour is led by a local guide of the
Owambo tribe. Return to the hotel before sunset and have evening at own

| Day 2 | Drive
via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass to the Namib Naukluft Park and continue
to the Namib Rand private nature reserve where you will spend 2 nights.
A very nice lodge in absolutely stunning dune-landscape. A nature drive

| Day 3 | Early
morning nature drive on the 185 000 ha privately owned nature reserve,
guided by very well trained guides, who will be able to show the beauty
and tranquillity of the desert. Return to the lodge for a brunch and enjoy
a nature walk or another drive in open vehicle to experience the many
facets of the flora and fauna at the Namib Rand Nature Reserve. Hot-air
balloon excursion 30 km from Wolwedans can be organized on request (optional)

| Day 4 | Leave
after breakfast for Swakopmund, travelling through the Namib Park via
Walvis Bay, arriving at about 16h00. Accommodation in a 4-star hotel.

| Day 5 | Transfer
to Walvis Bay for a dolphin cruise departing at 08h30 to Pelican Point,
with sparkling wine and fresh oysters served on board. Enjoy seals jumping
onto the boat and a good chance to see dolphin leaping out of the water.
Return to the harbour at 12h30 and undertake a Topnaar tour to the Kuiseb
Delta, where the chief of the Topnaar tribe will show the settlement of
his tribe and their traditional lifestyle. Return to hotel at about 16h00,

| Day 6 | After
breakfast we visit a Kindergarten at the DRC, a former “illegal” squatter
camp, where a couple of Namibian women have established this small Kindergarden
with the sponsorship of some Europeans. After the visit we continue along
the coastal road to Henties Bay, then into Damaraland. We pass the Brandberg,
the highest mountain in the country, on our way to Twyfelfontein, visiting
the famous rock engravings under guidance of a local guide belonging to
the Damara tribe and overnight at a stunning lodge near Twyfelfontein

| Day 7 | In the morning
enjoy a guided nature walk and proceed via Khorixas onto the main road
passing the Vingerklip Rock and Outjo, to get to a lodge 40 km from the
Etosha National park at Okaukujeo on a private concession area of 27 000
ha. This lodge offers very good game viewing as well as sauna and wellness

| Day 8 | Spend
the day on a game drive through the Etosha National park and enjoy game
viewing at the various waterholes and en route to the eastern part of
the park. We leave the park at the Lindeque gate and spend the night at
the very new lodge on a private game reserve bordering the national park.

| Day 9 | After
a morning activity like a game drive the route will lead to the farm Hedwiglust,
home of the Ombili Foundation, whose aim is to teach the 300 Bushmen living
there to become self-sufficient as farmers as an alternative to hunting
game, which has become extinct. From Ombili the route leads to another
stunning place near Kalkfeld, where the Afri Cat Foundation, founded 10
years ago, is based. An afternoon game drive to view cheetah and leopard

| Day 10 | A morning walk
with bushmen will be undertaken to experience this ancient people’s life
style. After a brunch we drive via Okahandja back to Windhoek with a stop
at the wood carver market in Okahandja, where different tribes sell their
artifacts of craftsmanship. Arrival at the hotel in Windhoek at about
16h00. The evening will be at a nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere.

| Day 11 | The morning can be spent in the city for some last minute shopping, before the airport transfer for flight back to Europe will take place. | |
