| Day
1 |
The
tour starts from Swakopmund along the coastal road via Henties Bay to
the Damaraland with a visit of the rock engravings at Twyfelfontein. Continue
to Palmwag, the day’s destination. Accommodation – Palmwag Lodge with dinner/breakfast |

| Day 2 | A nature
drive is offered in the morning in the concession area of Palmwag, where
very good game viewing and fascinating landscape may be enjoyed. Proceeding
afterwards to Sesfontein. Accommodation – Fort Sesfontein with dinner/breakfast |

| Day 3 | A nature
drive into the Hoanib river is offered in the morning, with a fair chance
to observe the famous desert elephants living in this arid environment.
Return to lodge at lunch time and continue to Opuwo, the only town in
Kaokoland. Spend the night in a new lodge outside Opuwo. Accommodation – Opuwo Country Lodge with dinner/breakfast |

| Day 4 | Via
Okangwati to the Epupa Falls at the Kunene river, the natural border with
Angola. Arrival in the early afternoon at a very nice lodge situated next
to the falls. Accommodation – Omarunga Camp with dinner/breakfast |

| Day 5 | Today
a visit at a Himba kraal is on the program to experience the lifstyle
of this ancient tribe. Return to the lodge at lunchtime and in the late
afternoon enjoy the sunset with a glass of sparkling wine at the falls.

| Day 6 | Return to Damaraland
via Opuwo and arrive at a very nice lodge, situated opposite the entrance
to the Etosha National park in the afternoon. A night drive is offered
on the private owned game reserve to encounter nocturnal game. Accommodation – Hobatere Lodge with dinner/breakfast |

| Day 7 | Driving via Kamanjab,
Otjiwarongo and Okahandja the route leads back to Windhoek with arrival
in the afternoon. End of tour. |
