Steinhausen Jagd is situated some 170Km from WINDHOEK, the capital city of Namibia.

The area is typical with wide savanna ranges, in places heavily timbered with natural bushveld trees.

The hunting area covers approximately 35 000Hectares and consists of privately owned farms with hunting rights granted.

The hunting style can be arranged to suit your individual tastes - the terrain is challenging, but can be easily negotiated on foot. Field transport in a four-wheel drive vehicle ensures that optimum hunting areas can be easily reached.

All hunts are conducted strictly within the stipulations of the Namibian Ministry of Environment and Tourism.

At Steinhausen we also cater to the African vacation for non-hunters and/or companions of hunters.

Guests can participate in game-viewing (remember to bring along binoculars and cameras with telephoto lenses), horse-back riding and have the use of a swimmingpool.

Transportation to Windhoek can be arranged for a day of souvenir shopping and sightseeing as well.

A visit to the Etosha Game Reserve can be arranged through a local Safari enterprise at reasonable cost.
