Trophies are measured in centimetres and the total points are arrived at as follows: 
With spiralling horns (Kudu and Eland) the measurement is taken around each spiral and both lengths are added. Together with the sum of the base circumferences this then amounts to the points total.
The other antelopes are measured from the base in the middle to the top of the horn. The sum of both horns and the circumferences again give the number of points.
