Kaliombo Safari Camp is situated on the edge of a dry riverbed, on 6000ha of private farm ground.

Only 6 km from the main road B2, between Okahandja and Karibib, it is the perfect stop over on your way between the coast and Windhoek. [see map]

Five big safari tents, each with en-suite bathroom and private patio, offer an easy African atmosphere that allows one to relax and unwind.

A waterhole near the tents offers excellent game viewing during day and night hours.

A wide variety of flora and fauna is found on the farm and on our game drives in open vehicles you will encounter different species of game like Kudu, Oryx, Hartmanns Zebra, Warthog, Steenbuck and Duiker with occasional spottings of Cheetah and Leopard.

We also offer walking trails in the vicinity for game- and bird viewing and to enjoy the fantastic scenery from the top of a mountain.

Day tours to other places of interest, for instance the Erongo Mountains, can be arranged on request.

Accommodation is based either on self catering or lodging, which can include breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Meals are served in a lapa next to the farm house only 500m away from the camp. An open fire place and a bar providing a warm and informal ambience, where our guests can spend relaxed hours with theirs hosts.
